What is the best free cell phone to get for Cingular?

Getting a new plan family plan. They say i get free phone and I would like to know what is the best free phone cingular has. Can someone tell me their personal experience with that particular cell phone? I just want a phone where i can text and call with ease. I also like a phone where i could have a camera so i can put a wallpaper on it. I don't really care about ringtones. Suggestions?

1. Really depends on what you like. Nokia makes nice lower end phones. I have a samsung sgha737 slider and I love it, but the camera is not so hot, so if you value that, skip that one. LG shine is very nice, a friend of mine has it, takes nice pictures for a slider. Samsung's clamshells are all very nice, easy to text on. I think you'll find that the phones free with contract are all about the same. At&T gives you 30 days to return the phone if you dont like it, as long as its in the same condition and you keep all the materials and box intact. Try one and if you don't like it, try another.
2. Will, you can check out Nokia N95, great camera and lots of apps. Really a cool phone!
